🗣SHEBESHXT Hearing Turns Chaotic: Decision Expected Today or Tomorrow

Polokwane, 10 Dec 2025 – Drama unfolded in court today as investigating officer Warrant Officer Phaladi Makola accused Shebeshxt (Lehlogonolo Chauke) & his lawyer Lot Ramusi of secretly contacting complainants to change statements in a separate Mankweng assault case.

The complainant had initially claimed Chauke assaulted him and refused him a J88 medical form. Ramusi told the court the man has now withdrawn the statement.

Makola warned he will investigate the new version and anyone lying faces arrest for perjury.

The state strongly opposes bail, citing tampering risks and Chauke’s violent history.

Magistrate Netshiozwi is yet to rule, the matter may spill over to tomorrow.

Fans outside court are anxious as millions in December gig money hang in the balance‼️

BREAKING NEWS | SHEBESHXT TO SPEND CHRISTMAS IN JAIL AS BAIL IS DENIED‼️

🗣Lehlogonolo Katlego Chauke will spend Christmas and New Year's Day in jail after the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court denied the musician bail and remanded his case to 19 January 2026.

During the hearing, startling revelations emerged as the court confirmed that Shebeshxt allegedly forged the victim’s documents related to the withdrawal of a previous statement.

This disclosure was made by Warrant Officer Phaladi Makola from the Limpopo Provincial Investigating Unit, who testified against the musician.

As a result of these allegations, the court indicated it will now revisit several of Shebeshxt’s past cases that were previously withdrawn, as they may also involve forged signatures.

Shebeshxt is facing nine serious charges, including::

Three counts of attempted murder:Assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, negligent discharge of a firearm and additional offences linked to violent conduct.

His latest arrest stems from an incident in Ladanna during the first week of October 2025, where he allegedly shot and injured two men who were reportedly approaching him to greet him.

Following Monday’s ruling, Shebeshxt will remain in custody until his next court appearance on 19 January 2026.
