Local Authors Explore Ancient Knowledge and Human Origins in Provocative New Book
Two Limpopo-born authors, Kgaugelo L. Makofane and Erol T. Maile, have released a bold and thought-provoking new title, The Reincarnation, a book that delves deep into the mysteries of human origins, forgotten histories, and the spiritual journey of self-discovery.
Makofane and Maile, both raised in Burgersfort and now based in Witbank, have long been passionate about storytelling. With backgrounds in poetry, philosophy, and cultural study, the duo say their mission is to shed light on knowledge systems often overlooked or dismissed in mainstream narratives.
Their latest work, they explain, is more than a book—it is “a guidance to rebirth, self-knowledge, and self-mastery.” The Reincarnation challenges readers to rethink widely accepted stories about the creation of humanity, the origins of ancient African civilizations, and the role of spiritual awareness in modern life.
According to the authors, the book focuses on what they describe as the “lost history of mankind,” arguing that many people today live disconnected from their true origins. They explore themes of “old souls,” reincarnation, and the suppression of ancient wisdom, particularly knowledge associated with early Africans of Egypt—whom they believe originated in what is now South Africa.
The book begins with the concept of “sense ability,” suggesting that humanity has lost its natural capacity to discern good from evil, contributing to stress, anxiety, and poor decision-making. The authors encourage readers to take responsibility for their choices rather than attributing life’s struggles to external forces such as witchcraft, evil spirits, or misfortune.
The Reincarnation also examines questions many have asked for generations: Who is God? What does it mean to be made in God’s image? How were human beings created? The authors argue that answers to these questions lie in ancient spiritual principles and natural processes that mirror the growth of life itself, from seeds in the soil to human birth.
Readers can expect discussions on the seven chakras, the “third eye,” and what the authors call the Three Mirror Conservative Principles, which they believe offer a powerful method for unlocking inner potential. The book also touches on controversial topics, including the idea of fallen beings influencing the modern world—content the authors admit may be “forbidden” or emotionally challenging.
“We wrote this book to help people rediscover themselves spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically,” the authors said. “There is so much hidden knowledge about our connection to the soil, the universe, and our own divine energy. People deserve to know it.”
Makofane and Maile, already recognised for their earlier bestselling non-fiction series, say they are currently working on their next project. Their growing readership praises them for merging philosophy, spirituality, and African history into accessible narratives that speak to the complexities of modern life.
The Reincarnation is now available to readers seeking a deeper understanding of their origins and an unconventional exploration of humanity’s hidden past.
