Once upon a time, Karina Botha had a retail job and tutored Physical Sciences, but she was craving some excitement in her life! So in 2017, she decided to spice things up by enrolling in a Digital Media course. Soon after, she enrolled in a Social Media course too. Karina was having so much fun practicing her newfound skills that she started offering free social media services to local companies i

n Polokwane. And before she knew it, she had founded her very own business, Olive Media, on December 1st, 2017. As the founder and owner of Olive Media in South Africa, Karina is a total marketing maven. She's always up-to-date with the latest social media trends and technology because she knows that staying ahead of the game is key. "It can be exhausting," she admits, "but I just can't get enough of this stuff. It's my passion!"

But Karina isn't all work and no play. She's a social butterfly who loves giving back to her community in Polokwane. She helps out with fundraising and designs for local charities like Lucky Paws Rescue and Heart-Drive Heart-Cycle. She's also a member of the fundraising committee for the Dalmada community and helps out at the NG Church's Bazaar with their plant stall. And let's not forget about her fur babies and her love of essential oils, crystals, and plants (which her husband may or may not be thrilled about!). Over the past five years, Karina has worked with all sorts of businesses and learned how to speak each sector's unique language.
