Premier Dr Phophi Ramathuba officially launched the 2025 Limpopo Ka Dizemba Campaign at Meropa Casino, highlighting it as a key part of the Tourism Thursdays programme. She unveiled summer packages and Tourism Black Friday specials, aiming to position Limpopo as a top‑three destination in South Africa. Praising the sector’s resilience, she emphasised village tourism as a driver for job creation, small‑business growth, and poverty reduction, citing the recent Spring Campaign in Sekhukhune’s Ba‑Dinkwanyana Village, its Tufa Rock and Sethunyeng Hiking Trails are unique attractions that should be marketed aggressively, especially to visitors returning home for the festive season.
