First week back! Special guests and graphic design 🚀

We’re back for Term 3, and it’s already been so special! We had a prophetic team from Joshua Generation Church come through to encourage everyone, and Carmel and Andre Lembwa joined us all the way from Cape Town to share their testimonies of how God has moved in their hearts as they’ve worked into the media world.

And in between it all, we’ve had incredible graphic design lectures from the Lara Hart! 🖊️

If this is just week one… bring on the rest of the term — woohoo! 🔥

Photojournalism week 📸

This past week the students jumped into the deep end! And they did so well 🥳

After one week of photography training, they entered into a week long project where they had to find a compelling story in the city, interview their subjects and select 10 images to reflect their chosen story. Today we pinned up the images and had , , & join us to give our students some constructive feedback 🙌🏽

All we can say is - WHAT A WEEK! Now it’s time for some well earned rest 🫡

WHAT A WEEK 🔥

Week 1 of classes has come to an end, and we can say that we aren’t the same people that walked into class on Monday!

This week we had the opportunity to hear testimonies of Gods faithfulness in all of these industry professionals lives. We leave feeling FREE, excited to create and envisioned to use media for His glory and for His Kingdom 🙌🏽

A huge thank you to all of our guest lecturers for taking the time to come and encourage us 🥳

We left as strangers and we came back a family!
That is what paddling 25km over two days with no phones can do 😂

We loved our time paddling up the Sundays river for an overnight stay at a cabin - We laughed a lot, we played hours of games, we got sunburnt and best of all, we got to hear testimonies of how each of us got saved!

We leave feeling tired, but stoked WE DID IT, and tighter than we thought we could be so soon!

Monday - classes begin 🥳
