Zukiswa Cakucaku, born and raised in Gqeberha, discovered her passion for acting at a young age. Over the years, she has worked with some of the most esteemed directors, including Lulamile "Looks" Matoto, Reverend M. Maqina, Dr. Winston Ntshona, Nomhle Nkonyeni, Nobesuthu Rayi, Monde Ngonyama, and Xabiso Zweni, among others.

Throughout her journey, Zukiswa has received numerous recognitions and awards for her outstanding work in the arts. Being part of Sizwe Banzi is Dead marks a significant milestone in her career. This play holds special meaning, as it was co-created by her mentor and father figure, Dr. Winston Ntshona. The upcoming 50th anniversary of the Tony Award for this iconic masterpiece makes this opportunity even more profound, showcasing her growth and dedication to the industry.

As part of the preparations for the performance, Mandela Bay Theatre Complex assures audiences of their safety. There will be a visible presence of SAPS, security personnel, and night watch teams, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
