“Hi Roch, I recently had my wedding and after the wedding we went through the gifts. Out of the 100 people that were invited only 10 people gave us something. It’s not about the gift, it’s the principle of giving. When we attend their celebrations we always bring a gift and it’s never an expensive over the top gift, it’s something memorable that they can keep forever. We are hurt by the fact that we invited so many people yet some of them didn’t even think of giving something small. A card would’ve been nice but absolutely nothing is just plain rude. Am I wrong for feeling this way?”

“ Hi Roch, I don’t wanna “friend” anymore … hope that makes sense! I just don’t wanna hang out with anyone and I just want to be alone for a bit … in my own space. I love my own space and every time I’m around certain people, it’s just so draining. All they talk about is their problems and some days I just want to talk about light hearted things and some days I just don’t have it in me to be supportive. Is this normal?”
