Dagon Point Studio This is the page of the Dagon Point Patreon. I am a traditional artist on a digital art journey. I am, however, still very much learning and growing.

I use this to share news and updates about the digital art commissions, projects, and videos I am working on. In other words, I am an old dog learning a new trick, mostly on Patreon. Influenced by the fantasy art of the 70’s and 80’s, and an avid role-player for over 30 years, I want to master the painting of digital fantasy and sci-fi images. This is quite a change from the abstract oil paintings

and figure drawings that I normally do. I’ve been at this a few years now, and my digital work is getting better but it’s not the best. I have basic equipment, a thorough knowledge of core competencies, and I know enough to know how to develop my skills. I want this to be more than a hobby – I need more time and better gear, that’s where my Patreon supporters come in! We're now a couple of months into our Draw Steel campaign and it's going pretty well. The characters are beginning to get fleshed out. This is especially true for Borg, the orc gladiator who favours leaping across the battlefield and into holes created by the elementalist.

So it seemed like a good reason to revisit his portrait.
