Do you remember the restaurant shooting?

According to the report, 33-year-old Vhahangwele Makolana was sitting at a restaurant in Marine Circle, Table View, on 25 May at around 2:00 PM when three unknown men entered the establishment and opened fire on him.

After shooting him, the suspects allegedly took his two laptops and cellphone before fleeing the scene. Emergency medical personnel declared Makolana dead at the scene.

Police in the Western Cape are still searching for the suspects and have appealed to anyone with information about their identities or whereabouts to come forward and contact the investigating officer, Detective Warrant Officer Bradley Davids, on 082 778 7345 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.

[MISSING: 17-YEAR-OLD BOY, GQEBERHA]

SAPS Mount Road Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) Unit is looking for a teenage boy who was reported on 17 June 2026.

It is alleged that the missing boy, Quran Walters (17), left his home in First Avenue, Windvogel on 30 May 2026 at about 17:00 and never returned.

He was wearing a beige striped top, pink pants and cream sandals.

Anyone who may have information that could assist police in locating him is urged to contact the investigating officer at SAPS Mount Road FCS Unit, Detective Sergeant Ayanda Songxaba on 071 352 4733 or alternatively on 08600 10111.
