1985 SGS MARABELLA , Mercedes Benz 500SEC.

This was ordered new from Styling Garage (SGS) in Germany and shipped to its new owner in Florida. These convertibles were Mercedes-Benz approved and adhered to all standards. It’s one of 300 Marabellas built between between 83 and 86 and its structural rigidity is on par with the original coupe.

The first owner was an American actress. The car is as it was when it left SGS, nothing has been modified.

She is in fabulous condition inside and out with only 82000 miles on. A lot of work has been carried out on her recently to make her even more perfect. New battery, tie- rod ends, new Bilstein shock absorbers, brake master cylinder, fuel pumps, fuel pump relay, set of tyres and other odds & ends.

Completed a 1200km road trip in last year February with absolotely no hassles.

1979 MERCEDES-BENZ C107 450SLC

Very well looked after car, drives well for her age. Engine is smooth and delivers all the horses without hesitation.
Vehicle is equipped with an automatic transmission, power steering, electric sunroof, air conditioning and cruise control.
This is definitely one of the better examples of a 450SLC out there.

She is ready for any road trip.

Located in Nelson Mandela Bay but delivery can be arranged on behalf of the buyer.

Here we welcome you regardless of whether your old Merc is knackered or pristine, this is a home where you can ask advice, get the right advice when buying a Merc, get valuations, get advice on solving issues with you car and when the time comes a place to sell your car. We are also in the process of establishing a network of ethically run Old Merc Guy partner stores who you can take your car to in the knowledge that you’re not going to be ripped off by some dodgy mechanic or panel be**er.
