Their famous lamb and mint pie alone is worth the drive 😍🥧

I was absolutely blown away when I recently popped into The Rice Bowl in Hurd Street, Newton Park, tucked away behind Pick n Pay Newton Park 👀🥢

The moment you walk through the doors, you quickly realise this isn't your average food store. Their range of ingredients for Asian and Oriental cuisine is simply mind-blowing 🔥

We're talking:

🥟 Frozen dumplings
🥢 Spring rolls
🍜 Ramen noodles
🥡 Specialty sauces
🌶️ Soy sauce varieties
🍥 Asian snacks and ingredients
🍚 Products you don't often find in mainstream stores

Whether you're a seasoned home cook or simply curious to try something different, you'll find yourself wandering the aisles saying, "Oh wow, they have that too!" 😅

One of the things I found particularly exciting is their monthly open day. It's not quite a market, but more of a foodie experience where you can purchase ready-made goodies such as:
