RE: LAUNCHE OF CAMPUS CARE DRIVE TO TACKLE FOOD INSECURITY
DASO is proud to announce the launch of the Campus Care Drive, a bold initiative aimed at addressing the growing food insecurity crisis affecting unfunded and financially struggling students at our university.
Last semester, DASO rolled out the successful Meal a Day Initiative and Breakfast Drive, which saw warm cooked meals and sandwiches served to hundreds of students in need. These initiatives demonstrated the urgent demand for consistent, reliable food support for our students.
Building on this success, the new Campus Care Drive seeks to expand the scope of our hunger relief program. Our goal is to secure more food parcels and provide warm, nutritious meals on a larger scale, ensuring that no student is forced to choose between hunger and their academics.
We are calling on all stakeholders including businesses, NGOs, faith based organizations, University management and members of the broader community to partner with us in this life-changing initiative. Contributions in the form of food parcels and financial donations will go a long way in making a real difference in the lives of students.
