I am not that old yet... but I am older than i feel... :)
I have an intense love for my family, my friends and my community, with whom I wish to share the wisdoms, knowledge and stories that shaped not just my life, but those around me.
I also have an intense love to explore, discover, research and collect interesting information that I wish to share with those that I am able to share it with, and recently decided to find a platform through which I could achieve my objective.
The Go-To Guy in Potchefstroom allowed me a space where I could achieve this, and allowed me to tackle the first subject on my long list of things worth telling, that being parenthood.
Parenthood is on top of my mind currently as my children, nieces, nephews, friends children are right at the start of that journey, and I remember fondly how I wish babies and everything related with babies could come with a manual, which of course is notthe case.
I also found that despite of our hyperconnected world and the large volume of materials available that there was still a gap in getting the knowledge and assistance required, and that many of the online pages that started trying to guide new parents somehow dwindled to the point that no new content is created, and yet there is so much to tell.
Besides that I also feel that all the materials that I research had an impersonal feel to it, and did not really tell the story like an Ouma and Oupa could, and hence here I am.
So over the next 10 years, yes at least 10 years, I will be sharing all my stories, stuff I love and wisdom I may have gained with the world around me, and I hope that you would take joy from these, and learn along the way, together we can have a great journey.
As previously eluded to the start of the journey would be parenthood, yet my stories and information shared will be vast and although somehow connected would be exceptionally varied, I want to entertain you, not bore you :)
