Big Prims 2025🤩 An inspiring NWU tradition where student leaders step up — not for themselves, but for others

Big Prims is an annual awareness campaign and fundraising event at the Potchefstroom campus. During Big Prims, the Primarii of each residence, along with the Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson of the Student Campus Council (SCC), participate in a 48 fast while confined to a glass box in the Amphitheater💤

This initiative aims to raise awareness about the challenges faced by underprivileged students on campus and raise funds for the Primfund, a support system for students in need💜

Canned Food Day is an annual event where students and staff on the Potchefstroom campus of the North-West University collect and donate non-perishable food items, such as canned goods, to support various charities and community projects😋
