Mokopane.Today, Nancy Zwane 50 and her three co-accused -Lesiba Edwin Mashiangako, Martin Morakalala and Jabulani Matokong Masingi- appeared in Mokopane Regional Court for bail application hearing . The hearing considered new facts related to the murder case of 54 year old Phineas Zwane.

The case has been adjourned to August 5, 2025,
The three accused will remain in custody till then. Notably , Jabu allegedly showed disrespect in court again during the proceedings , dispite multiple warning.

Mahwereng.18 year old, Lucky Ngobeni , a Grade 11 pupil at Gogela High School in Mahwereng , was among thousands of initiates who returned home with pride last weekend after completing initiation school( known locally as " Koma") Three months prior , Lucky expressed his eagerness to undergo the traditional rite of passage , accompanied by his friends who teased and joke about his enthusiasm . Upon his return to his home village of Madiba . Lucky was welcomed with a ceremony by family and friends . When asked about his feeling after initiation. Lucky beamed with pride , saying," I'm over the moon!" He encouraged his peers to embrace the tradition , proudly stating , " I'm very proud to have undergone my African culture."

Mahwereng. Malesela Daniel Selokela, 42, the Acting Chief Operations Officer of Mogalakwena Municipality , recently appeared at Mokerong Regional Court, for bail application judgement .He faces 11 serious charges including, r**e attempted murder kidnapping and violating a protection order. The court granted him R20. 000 bail with conditions :

Bail conditions
No Witnesses Interfere : He must not interfere with witnesses.
Passport Surrender : He must surrender his passport to the investigation officer.
Department of Transport Restrictions :
He must be prohibited from entering department of Transport (Traffic)
Jurisdiction Limitations : He can not enter Mokgopong with out prior application.

Selokela is currently out of bail and is sechuled to appear again on August 29, 2025, while the case remain under investigation -no citation needed since the response is based directly on user input .

Mahwereng. Malesela Daniel Selokela 42. the Acting Chief Operations Officer of Mogalakwena Municipality , made a brief appearance in Mokerong Regional Court today for bail application hearing. He faces 11 serious charges, including r**e, attempted murder, kidnapping and violating protection order . Due to the presiding magistrate 's illness the case has been postponed until July 25, 2025 , when the judgement on his bail application will be delivered. In the meantime, Selokela will remain in custody .

Mahwereng. This morning, Malesela Daniel Selokela, 42, the Acting Chief Operations Officer of Mogalakwena Municipality , appeared in Mokerong Regional Court in Mahwereng for bail application hearing . He faces 11 serious charges , including r**e ,attempted murder, kidnapping and violating protection order.

The magistrate postponed the case to July 16, 2025, to prioritise other bail hearing and advised that tomorrow would be suitable due to fewer legal aid cases . Colonel Simon Mogale , who has completed his testimony , was excused since he's on leave , but Advocate Mathabathe representing Malesela will be present.

Malesela will remain in custody until next hearing .

Yesterday, Malesela Daniel Selokela 42, the Acting Chief Operations Officer of Mogalakwena Municipality, appeared in the Mokerong Regional Court in Mahwereng for bail application hearing . He faces 11 serious charges , including r**e two attempted murder kidnapping and violating protection order . During the proceedings the magistrate requested an adjournment to prioritise other bail application hearing on the roll.The investigation officer Colonel Simon Mogale, and Malesela's representative, Advocate Mathabathe were present.The case has been postponed to July 15, 2025, for further hearing and Selokela will remain in custody till then.

Mokopane. This morning, Mamiki Nancy Zwane, a 50 year old , and her three co-accused Lesiba Edwin Mashiangako, Molapo Martin Morakalala and Jabulani Matokong Masingi appeared in Mokopane Regional Court for bail application hearing.

Nancy's murder charge was withdrawn by the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), leaving her facing only one count of defeating the end of justice . Her co-accused still face same charges.

During court proceedings , Jabulani reportedly disrespected the court , arguing with the magistrate dispite been cautioned to show respect. The court was informed that the investigation has been completed . and the magistrate noted that the trial would be time -consuming .

Due to errors in the affidavit statements , the hearing was delayed. The representative requested to proceed, but the magistrate adjourned the case for two weeks due to her leave.

The case was postponed to July 28, 2025, for further hearing , and all accused will remain in custody till then.

Mahwereng. Malesela Daniel Selokela, a 42 year old. Divisional Head of Communications of Mogalakwena Municipality , appeared in Mahwereng in Mokerong Regional Court for bail application hearing on 11 serious charges , including r**e, attempted murder, kidnapping and violating protection order . During the proceedings , Malesela read from his affidavit , claiming he wouldn't interfere with the witnesses and denying all charges against him.

He stated that denying him bail would result in financial losses and impact his ability to support his three children . However, during the reading Malesela suddenly
fell to the ground , claiming to fell dizzy . He was quickly attended to, and the proceedings continued.

The investigation officer, Colonel Simon Mogale , testified that Provincial Commissioner Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe instructed him to investigate the case due to it's severity
Malesela allegedly threatened his partner stating that he will hire a hitman from Zimbabwe to harm her if she divorced him further intimidating her to stay into staying In the relationship .

Mogale opposed bail citing concerns for the community 's safety and Malesela's partner , noting that the community had prostested outside the court demanding justice. The case was postponed to July 11, 2025, and Malesela' will remain in custody till then.

Mokopane. Everytime Jabulani Matokong Masingi appears in court it's accompanied by drama. Today Masingi and his three co-accused Lesiba Edwin Mashiangako, Mamiki Nancy Zwane, and Molapo Martin Morakalala appeared in the Mokopane Regional Court for bail application hearing for new facts related to the murder of 54 years old Phineas Zwane and allegedly defying the end of justice

When the Magistrate entered the courtroom everyone stood up except Masingi .
The Magistrate questioned him about remain seated, to which he responded that he wasn't feeling well . The Magistrate wasn't convinced , warning him that if he fell, they would call an ambulance.

Some of his supporters in the courtroom protested silently by bowing the faces when taking pictures, seemingly trying to avoid being recognised. During the proceedings it was noted that Masingi didn't have a legal representative , while his co-accused were represented by a lawyer. The new representative for the co-accused presented facts , but the court found nothing new.

The bail application was adjourned, with the ruling scheduled for July, 10, 2025 . The accused will remain in custody till then.

Mokopane. Jabulani Matokong Masingi, Lesiba Edwin Mashiangako, Mamiki Nancy Zwane and Molapo Martin Morakalala appeared in the Mokopane Regional Court, charged with murder of Phineas Zwane 54.
The case was postponed to July 3, 2025, as the presiding magistrate was on sick leave.
The four accused are being held in custody.
