People always say promoters hate artists… but that’s not true, and it hurts to even hear it.

Promoters are the silent backbone of the music. They’re the ones who believe in sounds before the world even notices. They take risks on unknown names, spend their own time, energy, and sometimes money just to push a song, just to give an artist a chance to be heard.

While artists are creating, promoters are fighting battles behind the scenes, trying to get attention, trying to open doors that are often closed, trying to make sure the music doesn’t die in silence. They carry the weight of making sure the sound keeps moving, that it reaches ears it was meant for.

It’s painful when their efforts are misunderstood… when they’re seen as enemies instead of allies. Because truth is, without promoters, so many songs would never leave the shadows. So many artists would never be discovered.

And the saddest part… sometimes we only realize their worth when they’re gone. When a promoter dies, the noise fades in a different kind of silence. The same people who overlooked them suddenly speak of how much they did, how many lives they touched, how many dreams they carried.

Flowers come late. Appreciation comes late. Love comes late.

Promoters don’t hate artists… they believe in them, sometimes even more than the artists believe in themselves. And that kind of love often goes unnoticed, unappreciated, and unspoken, until it’s too late to say thank you.

At the end of the day, they’re not against the music… they’re the ones who kept it alive, even when no one noticed they were fading.
