💔🇿🇦 HOW MANY MORE WOMEN MUST DIE BEFORE ACTION IS TAKEN?
Our hearts go out to every family mourning a woman lost to gender-based violence. Behind every statistic is a daughter, mother, sister, or friend whose life mattered.
But grief has turned into anger.
To SAPS: Where is the urgency? A few months ago, significant police resources were mobilised around protests against illegal immigration. Yet when women are being murdered, the response often feels painfully inadequate.
We are not asking you to choose between protecting our borders and protecting women. We are demanding the same urgency, resources, and commitment to keeping women safe.
Women deserve protection, justice, and the right to live without fear.
Enough is enough. SAPS, do better. South Africa, protect its women. 🕯️
