‎This scripture has nothing do with barrets, doeks and hats, it has do with married woman, the qualities that she must possess in order to qualify to minister and a leader in house of God, both the books of Timothy and Titus were written by apostle Paul. when other ministers of the gospel are working hard to stop women from ministering they are saying the books of Titus and Timothy are saying anything about women rather they are talking about men.

‎The book of 1 Corinthians 11 says a lot about women in ministry. In this chapter apostle Paul is not arguing against women in ministry, he has no problem about women in ministry rather he wants women in ministry to be those that cover their husbands, those who do not cover their husbands must not minister, they are not worthy and that is the commandment from God.

‎What does he mean when he said women in ministry must cover their husbands(Heads)?
‎The apostle is telling us that women can pray and prophesy as long as her head meaning her husband is covered
‎1 Corinthians 11:5-6
‎[5]But every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head, for that is one and the same as if her head were shaved.
‎[6]For if a woman is not covered, let her also be shorn. But if it is shameful for a woman to be shorn or shaved, let her be covered.
‎
‎The head of a woman is her husband,therefore for to pray and prophesy she must cover her husband, it is an embarrassment for a woman to be a leader in the house of God in worship and prophecy without covering her husband.

‎In the olden days, woman we not shaving their hers, it was shame for a woman to shave and in African traditional custom a married woman was never allowed to cut her hairs unless he husband had passed on. Heirs were part of the glory of a woman.

‎If a woman shaved, it was shame on them, so apostle was trying to emphasize the importance of women in Ministry to cover their husbands. He was showing us how embarrassing it is when a woman does not cov

This is the main argument that surfaced recently but the scripture is clear about it, a woman can lead but she must cover her head.
‎
‎So the second most dangerous part that leads to confusion is :which head must be covered?
‎Lets look at the following scriptures:
‎1 Corinthians 11:3
‎[3]But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.
‎This verse is giving us hierarchy of how people must behave in order in the house of God. Follow it carefully so that you do not get lost.
‎
‎It says "......the head of every man is Christ, the head of a woman is man, and the head of Christ is God."
‎
‎We can write the flow of such information as follows
‎ God
‎ |
‎ Christ
‎ |
‎ Every man(her husband)
‎ |
‎A woman(His wife)
‎ |
‎Children
‎
‎We must not get out of context here, the scripture is specific when it talks about covering and heads, it speaks about God being the head of Christ, we know about that and we have seen Christ Jesus how he honoured his Father and our Father God by through obedience to the death of the cross and later he was raised from the dead and was seated at the right hand of the The Father and was given a name which is above every name that at the name of Jesus the Christ every knee should bow Philippians 2:8-11

‎We must notice the scripture puts this hierarchy for the purpose of honouring the one who is your head, it indicates that what you are doing should not dishonor your head according the hierarchy written above the head of Christ is God and Christ have done all things to honour his Father through obedience.

‎Secondly it tells us that the head of Every man is Christ, it then reveals that a man ought not to cover his head as a way to honour Christ. We must know that scripture has told us who is the head of man but not what is the head of a man.

1 Corinthians 11:1-16
[1]Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ. Head Coverings
[2]Now I praise you, brethren, that you remember me in all things and keep the traditions just as I delivered them to you.
[3]But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.
[4]Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonors his head.
[5]But every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head, for that is one and the same as if her head were shaved.
[6]For if a woman is not covered, let her also be shorn. But if it is shameful for a woman to be shorn or shaved, let her be covered.
[7]For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man.
[8]For man is not from woman, but woman from man.

[10]For this reason the woman ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels.

“𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒂𝒌 𝒍𝒐𝒖𝒅𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒏 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒅𝒔.” One can speak eloquently and even quote scripture, but it is through their actions that the truth of their words is revealed.

Being a woman or bearing children does not automatically make one a mother in the true, godly sense. A true mother is someone who persistently seeks God’s wisdom — someone committed to fulfilling His purpose, regardless of age or gender. She does not compromise on God’s principles and is unafraid to confront anything or anyone that hinders the righteous upbringing of her children.

A mother is all this and more — but above all, she is wrapped in the fear of the Lord.
