ICASA is coming to your province — and want to hear from YOU!

ICASA has published the Draft Amendment to the 2011 Municipal Elections Broadcasting Regulations, which set out how Political Election Broadcasts (PEBs) and Political Advertisements (PAs) will be aired ahead of the 2026 municipal elections.

To ensure openness, transparency and inclusivity, ICASA is hosting workshops across all nine provinces from 24 November to 11 December 2025. These sessions will unpack the Draft Regulations and give stakeholders a chance to engage, ask questions and share their views.

The BMA/SABA Broadcast Media Awards – Southern Africa 2025 is pleased to unveil its distinguished panel of judges.
