KZN: Hou 22–26 Junie 2026 oop in u dagboek.

📣 KZN: Please keep 22–26 June 2026 open in your diary.
The CRL Section 22 Committee’s KZN provincial consultations are scheduled to take place from 22–26 June 2026.
📍 Venues and times have not yet been confirmed. FOR SA will share these as soon as they are available on our page, WhatsApp channels and website.
💡 We are alerting KZN-based religious communities, organisations and individuals now so that you can plan ahead and attend in person if possible.
🗣 Now is the time to speak up against State regulation of religion and make it clear that religious freedom must remain a constitutional right, not a privilege controlled by the State.
🏛 This process could shape the future of religious freedom in South Africa. Although it has been presented as “self-regulation”, the Committee’s Terms of Reference direct the process towards the development of a legislative framework. Religious freedom is a constitutional right, not a privilege granted, managed or withdrawn by the State.
📄 FOR SA has prepared a short template submission you can use as the basis for a brief verbal presentation and/or hand in as a written submission.
Download the template submission here:

✍️ If you cannot attend or are not based in KZN, you can also make a quick submission through the DearSouthAfrica platform here:

⚖️ This is not about protest. It is about participation and protecting our rights and freedoms in a lawful and orderly manner. If people of faith do not speak, others may speak for them.
🤝Please share this with KZN-based family members, congregations, faith communities and networks.
