Grilled Steak Salad with Corn & Cherry Tomatoes
Ingredients:
250 g (9 oz) beef steak (sirloin, ribeye, or flank)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp garlic powder (or 1 minced garlic clove)
Salt & black pepper, to taste
3 cups fresh lettuce (romaine or mixed greens), chopped
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
½ cup sweet corn kernels (cooked or canned)
½ tsp toasted sesame seeds (for garnish)

Dressing (simple option):
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar (or lemon juice)
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp honey (optional)
Salt & pepper, to taste

Instructions:
1. Prepare the steak: Rub steak with olive oil, soy sauce, garlic, salt, and pepper. Let it marinate for 15–20 minutes.
2. Grill or pan-sear: Cook steak on high heat (3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare, adjust as desired). Let it rest 5 minutes, then slice thinly against the grain.
3. Assemble salad: In a bowl, layer lettuce, cherry tomatoes, and corn.
4. Top with steak slices and sprinkle sesame seeds.
5. Drizzle dressing over salad just before serving.
