so my roommate received a call at around 3am and it was from his friend's girlfriend. she called him to asked if he knew where her boyfriend was and could hear it in her voice that she's upset. so what happened was, the boyfriend told her to come so that they can spend the rest of the night together, she prepared herself and got in an uber and when she got here the boyfriend's phone was now off 😭 mind you she cannot access his room without his student card, and she was alone outside where anything could've happened to her. we know how dangerous it is for women in south africa, it doesn't matter if they're at church, school or park, they'll get assaulted. she decided to go back to her place, using something that could endanger her life, an uber. my roommate called her after a few minutes and she didn't pick up. I really hope nothing happened to her and she got home safe. I need her to break up with that loser she calls boyfriend because he clearly hates her.
