A specialized medical team from Saudi Arabia has concluded a highly successful six-day humanitarian mission in Jigjiga. The program, organized by the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY), focused on providing critical surgical care.

The initiative resulted in 270 free surgeries being performed on patients suffering from various conditions. This effort addressed a significant need for specialized medical treatments not readily available within the region.

Somali Region Leadership led by President Mustafe Omer expressed profound gratitude to the visiting Saudi surgeons for their dedication and expertise, which brought relief to numerous patients and their families. Special recognition was also given to the local medical staff who collaborated with the international team, with officials praising their "knowledge and professionalism" throughout the joint mission.

Even as new mass graves emerge, the most recent discovered in Dhagahmadow, in the Jarar zone, former president of the Somali Regional State and notorious human rights violator Abdi Mohamud Omer (Abdi Iley) is brazenly exploiting the pardon granted by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed. Rather than showing contrition, he has escalated his audacity to the point of re-engaging in political activities.

Today, yet another mass grave was unearthed in the heart of Dhagahmadow. The victims exhumed from this site had been bound and subjected to burning, a horror vividly clear from the photographic evidence; their restraints and the bonds used to tie them before ex*****on were charred beyond recognition.

This is far from an isolated occurrence; such grim discoveries have been made repeatedly within the Somali Regional State. Meanwhile, Abdi Iley, the individual directly implicated in these atrocities, continues to engage in political provocations, as he broadcasts from social media while engaging political activities.

The people of the Somali Regional State are left appalled and perplexed: how can the architect of such crimes, now residing freely in Addis Ababa, continue to inflict psychological torment on the victims and their families through his inflammatory online posts.
