JINJA GIVES BACK, ONE TREE AT A TIME
Arbor Week is a reminder of just how important trees are, especially in our urban environments, where every indigenous tree contributes to a greener, healthier and more resilient city.
This week, the Jinja Outdoor team spent a wonderful morning at one of Pretoria’s green lungs, Wolwespruit Bike & Trail Park, where we’ve begun a special journey together.
As part of our commitment to giving back to the communities and environments in which we operate, Jinja planted an indigenous Wild Olive tree, a small contribution today that we hope will make a lasting difference for generations to come.
But this is about more than planting a single tree.
Together with Veld Plante, the Wolwespruit Indigenous Nursery, we are proud to contribute to an exciting project that will establish an indigenous tree nursery with the ultimate goal of seeing more than 8,000 indigenous trees planted throughout the Wolwespruit area.
For Jinja, responsible business means leaving something positive behind.
Jinja gives back. Jinja grows. Jinja plants for the future.
