10 years ago, I embarked on a wild journey. All I wanted to do was build websites — simple, clean, functional sites that helped businesses grow. But when I landed back in Durban, the market wasn’t ready. So I had to pivot — fast.
I started educating people about the importance of websites and digital marketing. At first, I was a total flop. Nervous. Shy. I lacked confidence, business etiquette, and the ability to “sell” an idea. But those tough beginnings became my greatest classroom. Ironically, my training programs took off. I found myself teaching digital skills everywhere — in boardrooms, campuses, community halls, and even small towns I’d never heard of before.
Each trip, each group, and each story shaped who I am today. I’m deeply grateful for every connection, every audience, and every opportunity that has come from simply saying yes to growth.
