In celebration of fathers, , an MTF East Africa alumna and award winner, will premiere his powerful short film, Father's Pain, on 21 June 2025.​

​This emotional and thought-provoking short film follows Joan, a loving daughter manipulated by her mother to prioritise her father's financial needs on Father's Day. As Joan grapples with the moral implications, her father silently observes, leading to a significant revelation. Will this new understanding bring them closer or drive them apart due to financial stress and deceit?​
