Faith Msole, an alumni from the Southern Africa Academy, has been honoured at the Nyasa International Film Festival, where her film 'The Scare' won the Best Short Film Award. We asked Faith what this recognition means to her, and she had this to say;​

“Personally, it has motivated me to push harder and work with even more dedication. I now believe in myself, and my work more than I ever did before. Professionally, I can proudly say that I am an award-winning filmmaker. I’m now eager to produce more films that will inspire change, especially within the Malawian film industry. My short film “The Scare” has been selected for screening at both the Euro Film Festival and the Nyasa International Film Festival, and it won an award for its uniqueness. The Scare” is a thriller—something Malawian audiences have never seen before.”​
