This commercial was directed by brilliant Sam Coleman and equally brilliant DOP Rory O'Grady and our very own FC Hamman was honoured to be the Drone DOP on this award winning commercial.

Interestingly all the tracking shots in this commercial were done with our various drones... no tracking vehicles were used. Exceptional drone flying by our brave pilots!

As FC always say to the team: "I will go to war with you guys!" Always total commitment and we can only again say thank you to our brilliant team.

𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗚𝗲𝗮𝗿 - 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘁 𝗗𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗲 🚁

This is our flagship FPV drone - called The MoneyShot - designed for high-speed flights while carrying a larger camera equipped with a gimbal.

This particular clip was shot with a Red Komodo, but we can also utilize an Alexa Mini if needed. This innovative tool elevates our storytelling capabilities significantly. The gimbal-mounted camera allows us to refine our compositions and perform high-speed chases with precision.

Darren is our FPV Whiz kid! He is one of the most versatile FPV pilots in the world and the best FPV drone builder in South Africa. He also holds the accolade of SA racing drone champion 2022.

Darren understands FPV drones like no other and will be out and about daily with his googles on practicing or in the workshop developing new technologies.

𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 - 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗪𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀 🐺

We were so honoured to be able to work on this magnificent series. This is a short compilation of some shots we did for the HBO Max series "Raised by Wolves", produced by Sir Ridley Scott.

For these shots, our own FC Hamman acted as Drone Director of Photography & Drone Camera Operator, with various Drone Pilots behind the controls.

Daniel Shelley is an accomplished Aerial Cinematographer & Flight Operations Manager.

Starting on film sets at 15, Daniel brings over a decade of experience in filmmaking. As a filmmaker, he has also grown into the RPAS aerial cinematography field. As a CAA Registered RPAS Pilot and our Flight Operations Manager, he specializes in aerial cinematography, filmmaking, and CAA drone regulations, ensuring every project soars. His dedication to creativity and excellence drives our success in producing unique and captivating content.

Nic's career as a Cinematographer and DOP began in 2006. When he started flying drones as an FPV specialist, he quickly identified the value of combining the passion he has for creating beautiful visual images with his exceptional ability to fly, not only FPV drones, but also a full range of drones from single op Mavic’s, to dual op Inspire 3’s as well as the heavy lift Alta’s.

Nic’s talents are sought after across the globe, and when he is not in South Africa Piloting and Operating with Hamman Drones on the biggest productions, he can be found on a remote island creating magic on US Survivor, where he has twice been nominated for an Emmy as part of the cinematography team.

Back at home, as a Hamman Drones Pilot, he is our Head of Operations in Cape Town.

Meet Timothy Hamman, the aerobatic ace and FC Hamman’s son! With four South African Championship titles under his belt, Timothy's exceptional flying skills and precision have made him a household name. As a heavy-lift pilot, he's in high demand, and his charisma has won over clients and fans alike. Timothy's talent and charm have earned him Rockstar status in the industry - he's the pilot everyone wants on their team!

Most people don’t realize that Timothy is deaf and has a double cochlear implant - but none of that makes an ounce of difference to his talent and skill.

From the UK, Nikki Smith has extensive experience across high level TV & Film production environments dating back to the early 1990’s.

She made a name for herself as a Technical Director and Vision Mixer across live studio programming for the biggest studios until she switched her attention to the Production side of things.

Nikki has an overall understanding of TV & Film production at the highest level having working extensively across various international projects.
