Appearing in one of South Africa’s most trusted and long-standing lifestyle magazines, this spotlight further cements the Durbanville Wine Valley Pinotage 2024 as a must-have for the festive table - a wine that embodies heritage, collaboration, and cool-climate craftsmanship.

Only 1 170 magnums were produced, making this limited-edition release as collectible as it is celebratory.

Featured in Netwerk24’s beautifully written centenary tribute by Maryke Roberts, the Durbanville Wine Valley celebrates its role in honouring South Africa’s homegrown cultivar with a limited-edition Pinotage - complete with an Afrikaans label - marking both 100 years of Pinotage and a century of Afrikaans as an official language.

Proud to see one of our clients featured alongside icons like Lanzerac, Bellevue and Beyerskloof in this national reflection on legacy, craftsmanship and heritage.

South Africa’s tourism recovery may be uneven, but it’s far from stagnant.

In a recent Netwerk24 feature on BDO South Africa’s tourism report, I shared insights from Roux Reklame’s clients - all proving that growth looks different when driven by purpose.

At Doolhof Wine Estate in Wellington, visitor levels have already surpassed 2019 thanks to a renewed focus on experiences and positioning the estate as a destination in its own right. Bosman Family Vineyards reported 20–25% growth supported by long-term investment in guest infrastructure. And in Franschhoek, restaurants like Eleven Restaurant, Ōku - Franschhoek and Yama Asian Eatery have matched pre-Covid business levels by reimagining what hospitality can be.

The data may show that other African countries are outpacing us, but South Africa’s recovery is powered by creativity, storytelling, and businesses that continue to adapt with intent - a story worth telling.
