A full-page feature in The Herald sees wine writer Sam Venter turn her attention to Grenache - and to the tiny Piekenierskloof ward that is increasingly making its mark with the variety.

Old bush vines, high-altitude vineyards, Alecia Boshoff’s insight from the cellar and plenty of love for the wines themselves.

Coverage like this is welcome, taking the Piekenierskloof story beyond the traditional Cape wine audience and directly into an important Garden Route and Eastern Cape market.

A lovely win for Doolhof Wine Estate – and one I’m very happy to share.

Their XCLUSIV rosé has been named Overall Rosé of the Year in Tim Atkin MW’s South Africa Report for the second year running.

And there’s more pink on the way. This year, XCLUSIV has also been released in magnum, and on 3 October Doolhof will host The Pink Table – a special lunch curated by Chef Pete Goffe-Wood and hosted by winemaker Rüdger van Wyk, with XCLUSIV alongside a tasting of rosés from Provence.

Quite a moment for this Limietberg rosé.

A little double celebration from the Swartland this week.

Time Out Cape Town has named just 16 Cape wine estates worth seeking out for Shiraz - and two Roux Reklame clients made the list.

Allesverloren Wine Estate, recognised for its six generations of history beneath Kasteelberg and a Shiraz described as a classic introduction to traditional Swartland style.

Knolfontein, singled out for a more intimate expression of Swartland Shiraz and the family story behind this small, site-driven label.

Two very different producers. One remarkable corner of the Swartland. And some lovely coverage for two clients we’re very proud to represent.

A fantastic feature for Piekenierskloof Wines in Die Burger, telling the remarkable story behind the Platklip Palomino Old Vines 2025 - from a vineyard planted in 1974 and almost lost, to just 713 bottles of this very special wine.

A beautiful piece of coverage by Maryke Roberts - and certainly one worth sharing, even a little belatedly.

A little PR win worth sharing: Swartland at 40 featured in the latest issue of Premier magazine.

Lovely national exposure for the Swartland Wine & Olive Route and its 40th anniversary, with Swartland in a Box putting the region’s producers, wines and remarkable winemaking heritage in the spotlight.

A rather good showing in the Spring issue of Essential Flavours.

Piekenierskloof Wines appears throughout the issue, with its Grenache Noir, Grenache Rosé and Grenache Blanc featured in the wine pages, alongside a competition featuring the limited-release Platklip Old Vine Palomino 2025.

And then there’s page 44 – a particularly lovely showcase for Go Wellington, with Bosman Family Vineyards, Canetsfontein, Diemersfontein Wine Estate and Imbuko Wines all featured together, complete with food pairings.

Very pleased with this one.

A little PR win we’re particularly proud of.

On Friday, the Kaleidoscope Music & Arts Festival took to the national stage with a feature on the Expresso Morning Show – sharing the story of this remarkable festival, the artists behind it and the young musicians whose lives are being shaped through music in Prince Albert.

Getting meaningful stories onto meaningful platforms is exactly why we do what we do – and seeing Kaleidoscope reach a national television audience was a very good way to end the week.

Now, there’s just one thing left to do: fill those seats.

Kaleidoscope takes place in Prince Albert from 21–23 August, with three days of exceptional music, art and performance. If you’re anywhere within road-tripping distance, consider this your nudge: buy the ticket, book the bed and make a weekend of it.
