What’s in Your Plan?

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 NIV

Today's Word
God has a plan for your life, but He doesn’t show you all the details. If He showed you what He has in store, where He is taking you, it would excite and amaze you. But if you saw what it’s going to take to get you there—the giants and Pharaohs you will face, the lonely nights, the betrayals, the closed doors—you would think, “I’ll just stay where I am.” God doesn’t show us the details because He knows we would talk ourselves out of it. If you can’t figure out how something is ever going to work out, and you start getting worried, that’s a sign God doesn’t want you to know. You have to be comfortable not knowing.

When you say, “God, I don’t see a way or have the answer for how this situation can work out, but I trust You,” that attitude of faith is what allows God to do great things. He had the solution before you had the problem. Pass the test and simply trust Him.

Prayer for Today
Father, thank You for Your plan for my life, a plan that is full of hope and an abundant future. Thank You that You are calling me to trust You and to be comfortable not knowing how everything will work out. I believe that You are for me, and that is all I need to know. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Nothing Shall Separate Us

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39 NLT

Today's Word
People may come and go from your life, but God is always with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. His love goes way beyond any human love you have ever experienced. Human love may be conditional, but God’s love is supernatural; it is unconditional and knows no limits. There’s nothing you can do to earn His love and nothing you can do to stop His love.

The Scripture tells us that His love is patient and kind. His love believes the best. His love redeems and restores you. No matter what you have been told or what you may think about yourself today, you are His most prized possession. There’s nothing that can separate you from His love! Remember, faith is activated by love. As you allow Him to flood you with His love, your faith will be ignited, and you will be empowered to live the abundant life He has for you!

Prayer for Today
Father, thank You for loving me and setting me free through Christ Jesus. Thank You for working in my life and restoring the broken places. Everything I have I surrender to You. Fill me with Your perfect love. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Prospering In Everything

They are like trees planted by streams of water, which yield their fruit in its season, and their leaves do not wither. In all that they do, they prosper. Psalm 1:3 NRSV

Today's Word
Large trees represent power, majesty and stability. Have you ever noticed the difference between a tree planted by the water and a tree far away from water? The tree next to the water is much more healthy and vibrant. Its fruit and blossoms are more beautiful.
In the Scripture, the Word of God is compared to water. When you are “planted” in the Word of God, your spirit is fed, and you grow strong just like the tree planted by the water. Trees planted by the water will yield fruit at the right season and will not lose strength. Today’s verse tells us that those who love and obey the Lord will prosper in whatever they do.
Do you want to prosper in your relationships? Seek God’s Word regarding relationships. Do you want to prosper in your health? Seek God’s Word about healing. Do you want to prosper in your finances? Seek God’s Word regarding finances. As you seek God and His Word and follow His commands, you will grow strong and prosper in everything you do!

Prayer for Today
God, thank you for your Word which is truth and refreshing water to my soul. Thank you for teaching me to seek you in all that I do. I place my trust on you and choose to commit my every decision to you so that I can grow strong like the tree planted by the water. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Still Standing

He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. Psalm 40:2 NIV

Today's Word
All of us can look back at things that should have defeated us. Maybe a divorce or a breakup should have taken you down, but look—you are still standing! That’s the goodness of God. That addiction, all that partying should have killed you, but because of a praying loved one, you are still standing and becoming freer. Or, maybe you lost a loved one and didn't think you could go on. You thought you had seen your best days, but God breathed new life into you. He lifted you out of the pit, put a new song in your heart, and here you are today, still standing.

When you go through difficult things, it is an opportunity to see the goodness of God shine in the darkness. You see Him lift you up, restore you, promote you and heal you. When you have this history with God, you don't get discouraged by every difficulty. You don’t fall apart because of a disappointment. You don’t get upset because people are talking about you. You know that God brought you through the darkness in the past, and He is going to bring you through in the future! Rejoice today because you are still standing and headed to the place of total victory!

Prayer for Today
Father, thank You for lifting me out of every difficulty and for helping me stand on solid ground. I trust Your goodness and I know that You are faithful to uphold me. Help me stay focused on the victory You won for me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Be Great in the Midst of Criticism

But I tell you to love your enemies and pray for anyone who mistreats you. Matthew 5:44 CEV

Today's Word
If you are going to pursue greatness, if you are going to be a great businessperson, a great teacher, a great parent or a great leader, you have to understand that not everyone is going to cheer you on. I would love to tell you that your family, friends and coworkers will celebrate you, but that’s not necessarily the case. Some people simply can’t handle your success. As you grow and increase, as God pours out His favor on you, someone will get jealous and start finding fault. Don’t be surprised if a relative tries to belittle or discredit you. You can’t focus on making everyone around you happy or you will start changing and lose sight of what God has placed in your heart.
Remember, your destiny is too great to be distracted by people who are never going to affirm you. Don’t take it personally. It is not about you. It’s their problem. Shake it off, run your race, and be great anyway.

Having greatness in the midst of criticism begins with forgiveness. Don’t hold a grudge. Bless those who curse you; pray for those who spitefully use you. As you keep doing what is right, God will honor you. He will promote you, and you will be great in the midst of criticism!

Prayer for Today
Father, I come to You today with an open and humble heart. I choose to forgive those who have criticized me. I choose to bless those who have hurt me. I choose to be great because You have equipped and empowered me to be great in the midst of criticism. In Jesus’ name! Amen.

Faith for Today

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1 ESV

Today's Word
So often we have faith for the future. We believe “one day” God is going to do something great. "One day," we will get a good break. "One day," we will feel better. "One day," the problem will turn around. It is good to have faith for the future and believe that God is going to take care of us, but we can become so future-minded that we lose sight of the fact that God wants to do something great in our life today. Today, God wants to show you His favor. Today, God wants to amaze you with His goodness. He is called “the Great I Am,” not “the Great I Was” or “the Great I Will Be.” God is always in the present, and true faith is always in the present.

It is good to have faith for the future, but you also need to start releasing your faith for right now. The Scripture says, “Now faith is.” The faith that is really alive and active is the faith that you have for today. Every morning we should get up with the attitude, “Something good is going to happen to me today!”

Prayer for Today
Father, today I ask and believe for a breakthrough in every area of my life. Send Your favour today. Send restoration today. Send healing today for all that need it. I thank You for Your goodness and mercy today and every day of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

The Power of Prayer

Carry each other’s burdens and so you will fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2 CEB

Today’s Word
We we are not meant to carry the load of life on our own. We need one another. Life can be heavy. People have been through disappointments, are dealing with illnesses, and are lonely. They can smile on the outside but be hurting inside. They have pressure and stress we know nothing about. James tells us to "pray for one another" (James 5:16). When you pray for them, it helps lighten the load. Your prayer causes the angels to go to work. Chains of depression, sickness, and loneliness that have held them back begin to loosen. When you speak faith into their destiny, the forces of darkness begin to lose their grip. It may not happen overnight, but your prayer is making a difference. Your prayer may be what is keeping them going. They don't even know you are praying, but the Scripture says that what you do in secret, God will reward you in the open. When you pray for others, God will always make sure somebody is praying for you.

Prayer for Today
Father, thank You that I can come boldly before Your throne and pray for the people You have brought into my life. Teach me to pray effective prayers that produce wonderful results and make a difference for them. I will lift them up and help bear their burdens. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Firmly in God's Hands

“Never turn your gaze from me, for I am your faithful God. I will infuse you with my strength and help you in every situation. I will hold you firmly with my victorious right hand.” Isaiah 41:10 NLT

Today's Word
It’s easy to feel as though our life is out of control at times. Everything is going wrong, one bad break or dead end after another. None of it makes sense. But we have to realize that it’s not happening by accident. The enemy didn’t somehow wrestle the controls of your life away from God, and now He’s standing by hoping things work out for you. God has you firmly in the palm of His hand. He’s promised that nothing can sn**ch you away. Him being for you is more than the world being against you.
The way to stay in faith is to recognize it’s all a part of God’s plan, which He promises to work out. Don’t waste your time trying to figure everything out and living frustrated over disappointments or what’s not happening. Try a new approach. It’s very freeing when you can say, “God, I don’t understand it, but I trust You. I know You’re working all things for my good, so I’m going to stay in peace, knowing that You will get me to where I’m supposed to be.”

Prayer For Today
Father, thank You that what so often looks like trouble is really Your hand moving me toward Your plan. Thank You that I can rest assured that You are working behind the scenes and orchestrating my steps. Help me to walk by faith and stay in peace. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

He Doesn’t Need a Cloud.

Is anything too difficult for the LORD? When I return to you about this time next year, Sarah will have a son.” Genesis 18:14 CEB

Today's Word
One beautiful, sunny day, the sky was clear blue when all of a sudden, out of nowhere, it began to rain even though there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. The sun was out and very bright, but there was a downpour. Where in the world is this rain coming from? It was as if God was saying, “I can make it rain whenever I want to. Just like in the days of Elijah, I can use a little cloud, a big cloud or no cloud. I am God. I am the All-Powerful, Creator of the universe. When I say rain, I don’t need a cloud. When I say healing, I don’t have to use medicine. When I say promotion, I don’t need the approval of your boss. When I say abundance, I don’t need a bank. I am not limited by the natural. I am a supernatural God.”

Whatever you are facing today, no matter how things look like in the natural, know that God has the answer. Trust Him because He can make a way where there seems to be no way. He can make something out of nothing, and He doesn’t need a cloud to make it rain!

Prayer for Today
Father, I praise You today because You are Almighty. I trust that You are working behind the scenes on my behalf. I believe that You can make a way where there seems to be no way. Thank You for Your rain of blessing in every area of my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
