Dr.LetMeTalk and Mandlakayise Dube (Script Writer and Director of Kalushi (South African movie released back in 2016, based on Solomon Mahlangu)
Dr.LetMeTalk learned much from the questions he was posing to the Director/Script Writer- Mandla "If you are not willing to learn, no one can help you. If you are determined to learn, No one can stop you" Zig Ziglar
1. Is the Muhammad Ali picture on the wall at the shop in the early scenes of the movie connected to the theme *THE LEGENDS OF FREEDOM* which is the brand which is clearly depicted in the movie Kalushi and hopefuly on your Next movie - SILVERTON?
2. Am i right to say the picture of Ali is also connected to the love of Boxing by Solomon's brother?
3.Am i corrected to say the book- The Pedagogy of the Oppressed, that Solomon was reading, liberised his mind and why specifically the book in the movie?
I have to acknowledge your great ability to keeping the events of the movie and also the characters' dialoques and monoloques to theme *THE LEGENDS OF FREEDOM* :
-Thabo's dialoque at the begining when telling Solomon and Lerato about our freedom fighters as they were on the stairs at Train Station.
- A wow at how you depicted the Solomon's P.O.V of when Lerato was narrating to him as to what transpired at the June 16 protest, i realised that Solomon was actually caught-up in his imagination while Lerato was narrating to him. How you used your creative mind and ofcourse your skills/or elements as a Director/ting, Script Writer/ting & Cinematographer/phy to produse that scene is amazing.
