What a year! I think it will be known as the year of the Pivot.
After the previous few years (Covid) we all had to learn new skills and polish up on some old rusty ones.

We had to get used to the new hybrid way of working.
No more chats at the coffee machine with work colleagues, but plenty of fun Zoom calls!
Very pleased that we had the privilege to work with Dr Peter Alkema, and created 102 new Udemy videos for many different courses that Peter offers.

We also did several livestream virtual events, many podcasts and vidcasts (video podcasts).
The space between education and the digital world is a very exciting one.
As well as spending a year lecturing online, and the first half of this year lecturing ’face-to-face’ again, I can see how hybrid education and learning is the way to go.

Well done to Leslie Nkomo! Leslie just finished his first edit for us and our client, Dell. The client loved it. Cue Leslie managed to edit the video on DaVinci Resolve- after years of using another editing program, Leslie is well on the way to becoming a DaVinci master!

Had a busy few weeks, working with an awesome client. The move from Premiere Pro to DaVinci Resolve has proved to be a great step forward. Always loved Premiere, but as we shoot on Black Magic cameras, it made sense to switch to DaVinci. Quite a steep learning curve, but ‘Wow!’. Once you get into DaVinci Resolve there’s no going back. Anyone else made the jump to DaVinci Resolve?
