You get to decide that your excuses don’t matter.

Not the cringe. Not the way you sound. Not the fear of what people will think. None of them are good enough reasons to keep hiding online.

None of them are good enough reasons to not show up for your business and your brand, or to not speak directly to your audience and your dream customers and clients.

You literally get to say, “It doesn’t matter,” and do it anyway.

And on the other side of all of that?

Being seen.

People coming to trust you.

Becoming in demand, because finally you have visibility and people want what you’re offering.

Comment SEEN if you want my free guide to creating content on Instagram that puts you in front of people and gets you in demand 💖

Imagine yourself one year from now, looking back. What will you wish you’d started and committed to today?

For your small business, I think that thing is content.

Not because it’s a magic bullet. Not because it solves everything. But because everything about creating content moves your business forward.

It makes you understand who you’re serving and what they actually need.

It sharpens your eye for how you record, visualise and present your business so people actually stop scrolling.

It puts you in front of people consistently and gets them emotionally invested in your brand.

And it makes you a more confident business person — because once you’ve mastered showing up online, talking about your business offline gets so much easier.

More revenue. More clients. More reach. More impact. Whatever the goal, content gets you closer to it.

The only thing you have to do is start. And then not stop.

Growing to 77,000+ followers and tens of millions of views taught us more about showing up online than we ever expected.

We’re not travel influencers. We both have full-time jobs. But the reach, the connections, the opportunities that came from just consistently posting — it changed how we think about building a personal brand and business.

Here’s what we learned along the way 👆

Want our guide to what actually gets your content reach — so you can be seen and chosen?

When I was at university, a boy called me conceited to insult me.

I turned around and said, “Oh, thank you so much.”

Partly because I love winding people up. But mostly because I don’t think conceited is an insult — it just means being really proud of yourself.

And I think more women need to be really proud of themselves.

The fear of being called conceited, or proud, or arrogant, or “wanting attention” stops so many women from talking about their amazing businesses, their products and services, and the real impact they have on their clients.

So here’s me saying it: I am amazing. The work I do is amazing. The women I work with are amazing.

And I’d bet money that you are amazing too — and what you do is amazing.

So talk about it. Talk about how great you are and how good your work is. That’s not bragging — that’s just giving people the information they need to decide if they want to work with you or buy from you.

Here’s to being conceited. And here’s to not letting silly boys run your day 🫶😅🩷
