Out of every 100 000 deaths amongst males in South Africa, 37 200 of them is by su***de... if it was not for the Lord, I really wouldn't have made it.

Quick testimony: I survived arguably the worst burnout in my life very recently, and it's after effects as well... and even after a few attempts of reaching out to some of my loved ones, it was in vain, or at least that's how it felt... for multiple reasons.

I was at an interesting low point, and I never imagined I'd be back in... if it was not for me having a personal relationship with the Lord, I wouldn't be here to type this message. The Church will hurt you, and people will let you down, including your pastors... if you don't have a personal relationship with the Lord, you might not survive anything the enemy throws at you.

There's a new sense of relief, a sense of gratitude , and a renewed vigour to live...

Frame 1: I got this video sent of me playing at my last gig, ironically two very special things happened during this mix... I got to finally set my own lane when it comes to being a DJ, I look forward to navigating it! Also I started my mix with an original unreleased track... I've always wanted to do that 😅.
Frame 2: is a blurry picture meant for younger me, the dream/vision might be blurry... but it's valid.

I used to believe that I'm unworthy of stuff, not necessarily because I didn't "deserve" it, but because the odds are always stacked against me, so in whatever capacity... I shouldn't be here all things considered.

But thank God for the perspective shift, we WILL occupy EVERY single space and do so with confidence because when we walk into rooms, we aren't walking alone. So here's to many more opportunities to shine God's light on every platform I'm on!
