Daily Bread BakeHouse Creates Pathways to Employment Through Real-World Experience for Youth.
As employers continue to place strong emphasis on prior work experience during recruitment, many young people face a difficult barrier to entering the workforce. Recent findings show that 29% of employers consider experience critical, while a further 45% say it significantly influences hiring decisions, leaving many capable young people excluded from employment opportunities simply because they have not yet had the chance to gain practical experience.
Daily Bread BakeHouse has been established to help address this challenge by creating meaningful opportunities for our youth to develop skills and gain hands-on work experience. Through focused training and practical exposure in the hospitality, tourism, and entrepreneurial sectors, the initiative is helping young people build the confidence and capabilities needed to enter and succeed in the job market.
