⚡ BREAKING NEWS: Double Fatality After Lightning Strike in Polokwane City Centre

​POLOKWANE – The severe thunderstorms predicted for the Polokwane area today, Wednesday, December 10, 2025, have led to a tragic incident in the City Centre this afternoon.
​According to reports from Dikgale News, three men were struck by lightning simultaneously during heavy downpours:

​Fatalities: Two of the men were declared dead at the scene.
​Injury: The third man sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a local hospital for urgent medical attention.

DIKGALE NEWS LUNCHTIME UPDATE: SHEBESHXT BAIL CHAOS

​POLOKWANE, LIMPOPO – Security was stretched thin outside the Polokwane Magistrates Court this morning as scores of die-hard fans of Lekompo star Lehlogonolo Chauke, known as Shebeshxt, descended on the precinct.

​The scene turned chaotic as supporters, desperate for news and a glimpse of the popular musician, pushed and shoved to get closer to the courthouse where Shebeshxt was set to make his second appearance on serious charges.
