The Widow’s Table

Being around widows made her reflect on a conversation many couples avoid: What happens when one spouse passes away?

Her experience at the event raised an important reminder about the need to communicate, prepare, and plan for the unexpected.

THE WIDOW'S TABLE Launch

It was truly an honour for Inside Polokwane Network to be part of the launch of The Window’s Table.

A beautiful gathering built around stories, connection, courage and meaningful conversations. Witnessing the vision come to life, and the emotions that came with it, was a reminder of the power of creating spaces where people can simply come together, be heard and share their journeys.

We are grateful to have witnessed this special beginning and to have been part of the launch of The Window’s Table. Here’s to many more conversations, stories and tables that bring people together. 🤍

A Moment That Spoke Beyond Words | The Widow's Table Launch🤎

Yesterday marked the official launch of The Widow’s Table, a vision born from one woman’s journey through loss, healing and the courage to turn pain into purpose.

As Bafedile Mahlangu, the founder, shared her story and spoke about the heart behind The Widow’s Table, emotions came to the surface. She shed tears, a powerful reminder that even when we create spaces for others to heal, our own journeys can still move us deeply.

It was a deeply human moment. A moment of vulnerability, strength and reflection.

The Widow’s Table is about Healing. Hope. Restoration. And yesterday, we witnessed the beginning of that journey.

Here are some moments with the woman behind the vision.
