National Foster Care Day brings attention to the lives of children who enter foster care through no fault of their own. Each child carries a different story some filled with sudden change, others shaped by years of uncertainty. We are grateful for places like Bophelo child and youth care centre and Sinothando Residental Care Centre for taking care of these children. The day also highlights the people who open their homes to help. Foster parents, social workers, and volunteers play big roles in creating stability. But even with their efforts, more help is needed.
