3 DAYS EARLY, but the significance of the Day of Reconciliation is just too important!

The history surrounding the day is mean to be understood, remembered and taken into consideration when celebrating the present day meaning of the holiday.

Since 1994, after the first democratically elected government was established, the day was officially renames to as we now know it and is meant to foster a sense of national unity and racial harmony. Every day should be Reconciliation Day!

In the words of Nelson Mandela: "In the end, reconciliation is a spiritual process, which requires more than just a legal framework. It has to happen in the hearts and minds of people."
