"Dr Emmanuel Thobejane grew up in the small village of Luckau in Limpopo, the eldest of eight children in a close Christian home. His father is a pastor, and faith was part of everyday family life. Long before he had ever met a doctor, Emmanuel already knew he wanted to study medicine. Today, after years of training as a neurosurgeon and pain specialist, he is using that calling to help people who have often lived with pain for years..."

"Few passages of Scripture are as familiar as Psalm 23. Its words have comforted generations through seasons of grief, uncertainty and fear. But what happens when we stop reading it simply as a beautiful passage of comfort and begin to see it as a roadmap for the realities of everyday life?..."

Opinion piece by Errol Naidoo

"I returned to South Africa on Sunday 20 Sept, after a successful five-day ministry trip to the US. The primary purpose for my travels to the US was to attend the 6th Commemoration of the Geneva Consensus Declaration (GCD) on Capitol Hill in Washington DC.

President Donald Trump sent a Letter, read to the membership by Vince Haley, Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy and Director of the Domestic Policy Council.

God truly went ahead of me. In addition to meeting with Valerie Huber, the President of the “Institute for Women’s Health” (IWH), I established relationships with the leaders of several pro-life, pro-family and religious freedoms organisations from across the world..."

"You look at the news and see things that disturb you – war, violence, corruption, and injustice. Yet sometimes, something happens that cuts deeper than all the rest because it reveals just how far the human heart can fall. Recently, the world watched the story of a mother who allegedly planned the killing of her own children, researching beforehand how it could be done. Children who should have been protected by the woman who carried them, gave birth to them, and was meant to nurture them instead became victims of calculated evil. Then something even more disturbing happened: people rallied around her in support. At some point, we have to stop and ask ourselves: How has evil become so normalised that people can celebrate what God calls sin?"

"Crosswalk Africa evangelist Reini Coetzee, who is currently in Tanzania, continues to be amazed by how God has been going ahead of him on his mission trek from Cape Town to Jerusalem. In an interview he said he did not expect that his time in Tanzania would be like his time in Malawi, where every step of his way he was supported in a coordinated way by the Evangelical Association of Malawi and The Way of the Cross. “Maybe the Lord wants something else to happen here?” he mused..."
