Pearl Thusi told a story at DJ Warras’ memorial about how they once slept in the same room during a gig out of town. She said Warras was scared he might oversleep and miss his flight, so he asked to share her room. He even put pillows between them in the bed.

But many people felt this was the wrong story to share, especially with his wife sitting there.

Slik Talk called Pearl “stupid” and “dumb” for saying this at such a sad moment.

DJ Maphorisa took Samthing Soweto's song. Like Prince Kaybee, the talentless DJ Maphorisa allegedly took Samthing Soweto's song and mixed it.

'Amalanga Awafani', which was released today without crediting Samthing Soweto. It's heartbreaking to see Samthing Soweto going through this.

Meanwhile, the talentless DJ Maphorisa continues to benefit from his work.

Fans in South Africa are calling for a boycott of the song 'Amalanga Awafani', which was released today.

The issue is that Samthing Soweto was not credited in the song no consultation ,no payment , despite his vocals being featured.

The song, produced by DJ Maphorisa and featuring Mas Musiq and Lawd Weezy, has sparked tension on social media.
