“But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”

Reflection:
Each day begins with new mercies and fresh opportunities. The past may carry victories or regrets, but it does not define your today. The only person you are called to outperform is the version of yourself from yesterday. Growth in character, discipline, love, and faithfulness is the daily goal.

The apostle Paul reminds us not to be trapped by yesterday’s weight but to keep moving forward with a heavenly vision. Life isn’t a competition with others—it’s a calling to personal faithfulness and godly progress.

So rise. Take ownership of your growth. Let yesterday teach you, not trap you. And in all you do, pursue excellence—not for perfection, but as worship unto God.

ANNOUNCEMENT! OPENING OF A NEW BRANCH OF "HOPE to You Community Church"

Dear friends! We are so happy to announce that on January the 14th, 2024 we are having our first service at our new Church branch in Mulbarton.

This is a very special and joyful moment for us, and we can see the hand of God in everything that is happening in our lives and in the life of our congregation! We have been praying for a long time and here it comes - The Lord has opened doors for us and blessed us!

If you reside in the Johannesburg South area, we are inviting you to the solemn opening service on Sunday, January the 14th, at 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM, in 23 The Broads Street, Mulbarton. Please come and invite your family and friends!

We would be so happy to see you and to share our joy with us, because it is The Lord's joy as well, as He said in Mathew 16:18: "...I will build My church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it..."
