One year ago to the day, I sold the Stanford Hotel. I had poured my love into this special place for 23 years and hoped that the legacy and history of all past owners, staff and visitors would continue into the future.

But the hotel has not yet re-opened after a year. This is disappointing but there are many other options both in Stanford and on farms just outside Stanford.

Phase one, the Fashion Museum, has been curated and can now be previewed from Wednesday morning 15 October.

Our Museum Cafè is still a work in progress, but it will be serving delicious tea and coffee for the occasion with a cake of the day.

Phase 2 will be the official launch of the Museum Cafè. Phase 2 will be the opening of the Pecan Farm Shop and our biggest undertaking of all will be the opening of the Vaalharts Museum Phase 4

We are planning a Christmas Market for the 29th November. Please contact Michelle or Pieter to book a vendors table.
