COMMUNITY HELPS POLICE ARREST TRIPLE MURDER SUSPECT IN LESS THAN 12 HOURS
A 41-year-old man accused of killing three people near Makapanstad has been arrested less than 12 hours after a massive manhunt was launched.
Police say members of the Moeka Vuma community helped track down James Mohajane after a public alert was issued. The community then handed him over to police on Wednesday morning.
Mohajane is accused of killing his girlfriend, Moipone Lefoka, her sister Esther Lefoka, and Esther's boyfriend, Tshepo Molekwa, during a weekend attack.
Acting National Commissioner Lieutenant General Puleng Dimpane praised the community and everyone who shared information, saying public cooperation is important in the fight against violent crime.
