's work TYPESETTINGS (for flute, cello, prepared piano, and mechanical typewriter) has enjoyed some notable performances. The work is richly imaginative and draws on elements of speech rhythm to create a tightly coherent musical syntax. This year, Standard Bank Artist of the Year Megan-Geoffrey Prins commissioned one of our own composers, Arthur Feder, to write a new work to be premiered at the National Arts Festival .
