Introducing Valkyrie Seabiscuit, the smallest baby in Katia and Mojoโs litter, born weighing a mere 77 grams โ tiny, fragileโฆ and initially, heartbreakingly, essentially lifeless. ๐ค
For several long, agonising minutes, there was only intense rubbing, willing him to stay, until finally โ his first breath.
His very first, soft little cry came almost an hour later, and in that time, I truly thought I was going to lose him. ๐
His name is inspired by Seabiscuit, the unlikely American racehorse who defied expectations during the Great Depression. Too small. Too slow. Written off by nearly everyone โ until he became a symbol of grit, perseverance, and hope against the odds. ๐โจ
Our '๐๐ช๐ต๐ต๐ญ๐ฆ ๐๐ช๐ด๐ค๐ถ๐ช๐ต' carries that same quiet determination. What he still lacks in size, he more than makes up for in purrsonality โ he has a fantastic appetite, a tiny motor that doesn't stop once his little stomach is full, and he is quite simply the cutest little patootie imaginable. ๐ค๐ค
