SHAME AND CONTEMPT: Eswatini Government Welcomes 10 More Deportees from the US

By Mehluleli, October 7 2025

MATSAPHA- In a move that has sparked widespread outrage and condemnation, the Eswatini government has confirmed the arrival of 10 more deportees from the United States. This latest development comes after the country received five deportees in July, who were convicted of serious crimes in the US, including child r**e, murder, robbery, and aggravated assault.

Sources indicate that the Eswatini government have received a substantial amount, reportedly around E10 billion, from the United States government in exchange for accepting these deportees. While the exact terms of the deal remain unclear, one thing is certain - the people of Eswatini are outraged. Many are questioning the government's decision to accept convicted felons and potentially compromise the country's safety and security.

The government's decision has been met with fierce resistance from activists and citizens who argue that the deal is a clear betrayal of the country's interests. "We condemn this deal in the strongest possible terms," said a local activist. "Our government has sold out our country to foreign interests, and we demand answers."

SHAME IN THE FOOTBALL COMMUNITY: MTN Eswatini's Meager Man of the Match Prize Sparks Outrage

MATSAPHA - The football fraternity in Eswatini is reeling in shock and disappointment after MTN Eswatini awarded the Emvasi Man of the Match a paltry E25 data bundle. The minuscule prize has sparked widespread outrage, with many calling it an insult to the player's outstanding performance.

The Man of the Match award is intended to recognize and reward exceptional talent and dedication on the field. However, MTN Eswatini gave a paltry E25 data bundle as the prize for the Man of the Match, which is a stark reminder of the lack of value placed on the hard work and dedication of these athletes. It's even more disheartening considering the significant revenue generated by these matches.

In a country where unemployment and poverty are rampant, E25 is barely enough to buy a even a single plate of meal, let alone serve as a meaningful reward for outstanding performance. The lack of substantial support from sponsors and governing bodies can discourage talented players from pursuing their passion, ultimately affecting the growth and development of football in Eswatini.

We spoke to several football fans and players who expressed their disappointment and frustration with MTN Eswatini's decision. "It's an insult," said one fan. "These players deserve better than a measly E25 data bundle. It's time sponsors and governing bodies recognize the value of our athletes."

Others suggested that MTN Eswatini should have given the player a more substantial prize or recognition, such as a trophy or a reasonable cash award. "If they couldn't afford a big prize, they should have at least given him a trophy or a medal," said another fan. "It's not about the money; it's about recognizing the player's hard work and dedication."

Eswatini King Ask For E40 billion Donations From The UN General Assembly Meeting.

Swato News
September 27, 2025

While African leaders were brainstorming innovative solutions to combat climate change, King Mswati III took a dramatically different approach. In a shocking display of audacity, he requested a staggering E40 BILLION (yes, billion!) in donations to supposedly fight climate change in the tiny Kingdom of Eswatini, home to less than 1.5 million people. The sheer magnitude of this request has left many scratching their heads, wondering what exactly the king plans to do with such an astronomical sum.

The shocking truth is that the king's true intention is to indulge in a life of unparalleled luxury, treating himself and his large family to the finest things money can buy. His numerous wives and lavish lifestyle are the real beneficiaries of this massive donation, leaving the Swazi people to wonder if they'll ever see a fraction of the funds. The only true neighbors of Eswatini, South Africa, are watching with bated breath, questioning the king's motives and the potential consequences of enabling such extravagance. Is this the kind of leadership Africa needs? The answer, sadly, is a resounding no.

Time for dictatorship is over. Eswatini king must end his human rights violation to all those challenging the way in which his country is being governed. Eswatini is ruled with an iron fist and the barrel of a gun. You stand up for your rights, you get killed either by guns or by slow food poisoning while inside prison. King Mswati must handover power to the people.

LIKE ALPHEOUS, KING MSWATI IS A RA**ST

Last week, it was announced that government has renewed the contract of its r**e accused spokesperson, Alpheous Nxumalo. He had been arrested in April and charged with statutory r**e for having s*xual relations with a 17 year old girl and her 18 year old sister. Many were shocked when his contract was renewed but we were not.

For King Mswati and his tinkhundla government, Alpheous did nothing wrong. Infact, the king couldn't believe his ears when told the reason for his arrest. In his mind, having s*x with girls below the age of 18 is not a crime. It is something that he has done many times.

Below is a list of wives that he impregnated and married when they were less than 18 years of age. Some, like LaDube, LaHwala and LaMbikiza he impregnated when they were only 16 years old:

1. Sibonelo Mngomezulu (LaMbikiza): born in 1969 and got married to King Mswati in 1986 at just 16 years old. She got pregnant and gave birth to his first born daughter Sikhanyiso the following year at 17 years old.

2. Carol Dlamini (LaNgangaza) born in 1970 and got married to King Mswati in 1987 when she was 17 years old. A year later she gave birth to his daughter Temaswati.

3. Putsoana Hoala (LaHwala): born in 1974, she was snatched while doing her secondary education in 1989. She was only 15 years old and a year later, she got pregnant and gave birth to her firstborn son, Bandzile in 1990. She was only 16 years old. She later left the king in 2004.

4. Nontsetselelo Magongo (LaMagongo) was born in 1985. She got married to the king in 2002, when she was just 17 years old. A year later in 2003, she gave birth to his son Mcwasho.

5. Nothando Moosa (LaDube): born in 1988, the king picked her in 2004 when she was just 16 years old. He had seen her when she attended a birthday party of one of his children. A year later, in 2005, she gave birth to his daughter, Makhosothando.

That is why we were not surprised when Alpheous’s contract was renewed because in king Mswati’s warped mind, he is not a ra**st. He merely did what the king has done numerous times.

So if Alpheous is a ra**st, then he too, is a ra**st and we shouldn't be afraid to say so.
