Real talk: the number one thing that kills a contact form's conversions isn't design, it's asking for too much info upfront. Name, email, message. That's it. Everything else can wait until they've actually said hello.

Pet peeve as a dev: clicking a link on a site and landing on a broken 404 page with zero way back. Five minutes to fix, but so many sites just... don't. If your site does this, it's costing you visitors quietly every day.

A few months back I worked with an education client who wasn't showing up when people searched for what they offer.
We cleaned up the site, tightened the messaging, fixed the technical stuff Google cares about — and within a month they'd picked up 163+ clicks they weren't getting before.

Quick one if you're checking your own site's Google ranking today:

Search "site:yourwebsite.com" in Google. If almost nothing shows up, Google isn't indexing your pages properly — which means people searching for what you do literally can't find you.
