This Virgo New Moon has been shining a rather bright light into my emotional cupboards...And some of the things hiding in there are well past their expiry date! 😂

New Moons are usually about fresh starts, setting intentions and planting seeds for what we want to create next.

But before we start waving our manifestation lists at the sky, this Moon feels like it’s asking:

What are you still carrying that was never actually yours?

I’ve spent a lot of my life being the strong one.

The space holder.
The fixer.
The emotionally capable one carrying seventeen invisible shopping bags while saying:

“No, honestly, I’m fine. I’ve got it.”

But lately I’ve been asking myself...

Who holds space for me?
And have I become so good at being strong that I’ve forgotten how to let myself be supported?

This is one of the things I love about Soul Mapping. It takes us much deeper than simply knowing our Sun, Moon and Rising signs.

We look at the sacred archetypes living in the birth chart and how they connect with the planets, houses and different areas of our lives.

They can show us where we’ve learned to protect ourselves, where we might be giving our power away and which parts of us are ready to be reclaimed.

For me, Medusa and Kaali are particularly loud under this Moon.

They’re asking me whether I can protect myself without completely armouring my heart.

Whether I can be powerful without constantly preparing for battle.

And whether I can finally put down some of those bloody emotional shopping bags. 😅🛍

Apparently, 42 is the answer to life, the universe and everything…

But nobody mentioned that Uranus might arrive with a crowbar. 🪐⚡️

What society calls a midlife crisis, astrology might call a midlife awakening. A time when the roles, relationships and expectations that no longer feel true become impossible to ignore.

My own cosmic jailbreak led me straight to Medusa.🐍

She came bearing lessons about anger, boundaries, visibility and power. She reminded me that harmony without honesty is often just resentment wearing a kaftan.

Rude. But accurate.

That initiation opened the door to the Sacred Feminine archetypes, then the Sacred Masculine wandered in, and suddenly there was a Cosmic Council of 53 revealing the deeper stories beneath our birth charts.

And somewhere among the snakes, stars and spectacular unravelling…

Soul Mapping was born. ✨

Well...Anyone else feel like they just had a cosmic make over? I went into eclipse season carrying a gaggle of Goddesses and emerged with a full Cosmic Council of 53 Sacred Feminine and Sacred Masculine archetypes, an extensively renovated sense of self and hair that appears to have received the same expansion memo.

It’s been wild.
It’s been hard.
It’s been healing.

There have been magical rabbit holes, uncomfortable revelations, ancient stories, emotional excavations and several internal council meetings that absolutely could have been emails.

But Cosmic Soul Code has evolved because I have.

This work goes beyond the familiar parts of a birth chart and explores the archetypes woven beneath the surface. The voices, gifts, patterns, contradictions and hidden parts of ourselves that may be waiting to be recognised.

Just two gingers in the woods, trying to understand the mysteries of existence… one birth chart at a time. Meanwhile, Soul Mapping and Soul Code HQ is absolutely buzzing with activity. New archetypes are quite literally coming out of the woods, the offerings are deepening, and this whole creation keeps revealing what it wants to become.

I created Cosmic Soul Mapping because I’ve spent so much of my life trying to untangle why I am the way I am.

Why do I feel everything so deeply?
Why do certain patterns keep repeating?
Why have I always felt both wildly powerful and occasionally like three raccoons in a goddess costume?

Astrology helped me see that the parts of myself I’d judged, hidden or struggled to explain weren’t random flaws. They were patterns. Archetypes. Wounds, gifts and untapped powers woven through my story.

But I wanted to go deeper than a traditional birth chart reading.

Soul Mapping explores the Sacred Feminine and Sacred Masculine archetypes activated in your chart, helping you understand the different energies living within you and how they’ve shaped your relationships, creativity, purpose, power and healing.

I created it from my own need to feel seen, understood and whole.

Because sometimes the question isn’t, “What’s wrong with me?”

It’s, “What part of me is asking to be understood?”

And apparently, sometimes the answers arrive in the woods, accompanied by another ginger. 🐈✨

Shaktivation was conceived during the February eclipse portal, when I was alone in the Karoo on a rather epic personal releasing mission.

It was the end of the year of the snake and the start of the Fire Horse. I had done an epic cord cutting ceremony cutting off the dreadlocks I’d carried for 13 years. Then, during a meditation in a bone-dry riverbed, a huge storm rolled in. Thunder circled above me, the rain finally broke and lightning started coming down a little too close for comfort. 👀

I felt wildly alive, completely in awe…and extremely activated. ⚡️

After the sensible safety officer in my brain removed me from the open lightning zone, I went inside, put on a playlist of music I had been collecting and danced alone for nearly two hours. I rage-danced, joy-danced, cried, laughed and got wonderfully feral. I could feel emotions moving through different parts of my body, and the idea for Shaktivation came flooding in. 🤩

I knew I wanted to take my DJing somewhere deeper and create a space where women could move out of their heads, reconnect with their bodies and release whatever they had been carrying. I feel deeply in my bones that, as women in this world today, we need our tribe, connection and feminine activation 💥

On Saturday, at Wild Spirit, during the 8/8 Lions Gate and at the threshold of another eclipse portal, I finally brought that idea into being. And I cannot explain how excited and emotional I was to see this little lightning-bolt vision become real. 🥹⚡️

We began with breathwork and yoga led by Emma Jane, including Goddess Pose and Lion’s Breath…obviously. 🦁

Then we moved.

We shook, stomped, stretched, swayed and danced through deep bass and earthy rhythms. No choreography. No need to look graceful. Just women giving themselves permission to take up space, listen to their bodies and let whatever needed to move…move.

What a beautiful activation of the very first Shaktivation Bone Dance.

The bones have started dancing. This is only the beginning. 🦴🔥

A Soul Code is so much more than a pretty design.
It's a symbolic sigil created from your Soul Map, your archetypes, your patterns, your gifts, your growth, and the story your soul has been whispering all along.

Think of it as your soul's signature.

Every line has meaning. Every shape has a purpose. Nothing is random.

It can be used however you wish....but my favourite use would be as a tattoo.... and what do you know I happen to be a tattoo artists too 🎉
