POPULAR PASTOR ARRESTED FOR R**E IN THOHOYANDOU
Ps Innocent Muritho, a 40-year-old pastor from Venda was arrested in connection with the alleged r**e of a 14-year-old girl at his church in Sibasa. The girl courageously disclosed the ordeal to her family on Saturday, 19 July 2025 and police were quickly notified and a case of r**e was opened and investigated by the Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) Unit. The criminal masquerading as a man of God was arrested yesterday and will appear in court today. This is allegedly not his first time that he gets accused of a similar charge

Andile Jali Slaughters Two Cows to Honour His Ancestors

Former Mamelodi Sundowns captain and defensive midfielder Andile Jali, who is currently a free agent after parting ways with Chippa United, recently showed that he remains deeply connected to his cultural roots.

Jali, affectionately known as "AJ 15" or "Gattuso", recently posted a video on his official social media account where he was seen performing a traditional ceremony. He slaughtered two cows during a visit to his hometown of Matatiele — the place where he spent his early years before rising to football fame.

On Wednesday evening, the ex-Chippa United midfielder, who was released by the club ahead of the 2025/26 Betway Premiership season, shared the footage via his Instagram stories. Alongside the video, Jali simply captioned it, “Home,” marking the moment as a personal and spiritual return.

5 people shot dead at at a tavern @ Shoba Informal Settlement, Oliven: An update

2025-07-18 at about 22:30 a call was received that there is a shooting at a tavern. A SAPS crew was dispatched and reported that about 10 suspects came into the illegal shebeen and started shooting randomly, 3 unknown males and 2 females died while being attended by paramedics. The illegal shebeen owner was subsequently arrested. Further progress will be reported. Duty Officers, detectives and crime prevention units were activated to trace the suspects.
