TRAFFIC ALERT | FOUR INJURED IN R71 MAGOEBASKLOOF HEAD-ON COLLISION

MAGOEBASKLOOF – Four people were injured in a head-on collision involving two vehicles on the R71 in Magoebaskloof, near Samango Lodge, on Wednesday, 14 January 2026.

Evac911 medics were dispatched to the scene at approximately 14h00. Upon arrival, emergency responders found that one patient had sustained serious injuries, while three others suffered minor injuries.

All patients were stabilised on scene before being transported to the nearest appropriate medical facility for further treatment.

This is due to the ongoing power outages in the municipality.

The area has reportedly been without power since December.
